What is the AFSCME Local 2076 Health and Welfare Trust Fund?

The AFSCME Local 2076 Health and Welfare Trust Fund is a tax exempt organization designed for the sole purpose of providing its members with the best possible benefits with funds obtained by AFSCME Local 2076 through negotiations with the County of Orange. The Fund is controlled by a three member Board of Trustees appointed by AFSCME Local 2076.

This Fund provides all employees of the Eligibility Worker Bargaining Unit within the Social Services Agency of the County of Orange with basic benefits such as, but not limited to, disability, dental, vision, chiropractic, and life insurance benefits regardless of union membership status. Union membership in AFSCME Local 2076 entitles members to various additional, and optional benefits including coverage for dependents.
