Voluntary Short-Term Disability Insurance

As a Union Member, you may upgrade the basic short-term disability plan. The voluntary plan offers the following coverage:

60% of weekly pay, up to a maximum of $500 per week
7 day waiting period for accident and sickness
13 week benefit period
Benefit paid may be offset by sick pay

A personal health statement enrollment form is required to determine eligibility. Eligibility requirements may be waived if enrolling within the first thirty (30) days of employment.
